Weekend!

This is my friend in what I have decided is the "Angel Headed Hipster" pose. Also known as the "Drunk with Ladder" pose.

So I went to lawn bowls on Friday afternoon and it was super lovely and awesome and I took lots of photos of the same thing over and over again. I am now very proud to present them to you. :D Sidenote: this night ended with me having a fight with a Scotsman about the existence of the Loch Ness Monster. Good times!

OMG GRASS!
OMGWTFBBQ!
Ahh happy times. Happy times with bread.

Don't really know what this dude is picking up... may be doing pre-lawn bowls yoga? Hooray yoga!

Weird day of sun + grey skies which always look retarded and awesome and always happen in Melbourne.

Pensive about sun + grey skies. Why is the earth so mysterious? Need to think about life. Need to know about the mysteries of the world. Need more beer.

SUNSHINE ON MY LAWN BOWLS, MAKES ME HAPPY, LIKE I SHOULD BE.

Yeah I got nothing. :D

Japan Times #4: Hiroshima and Miyajima

It's almost weird to talk about Hiroshima, there isn't much I could really say that could sum the place up. The way that you feel when you walk around, the way that the Peace Park makes you feel about being a human. I didn't really take many photos there, was kind of surreal in a way. So I guess I kind of don't want to narrate this post. But if you know me you should probably ask me to tell you about the white horse.

Japan Times #3: Nara (otherwise known as OMFG DEER!)

This is a pretty epic post as for some reason I took loads of photos in Nara, it might have been because half of the main part of the city was a gigantic park FULL OF DEER. So as we begin please remember these photos are taken by someone who has never seen deer before in her life and was ridiculously excited by them.

Check them out! Scaring childrens!

Irritating Businessmen! (sidenote: that tall young grim looking businessman totally turned around about five seconds after this pic was taken and patting and cuddling this deer, I was totally charmed)

Sitting around ignoring you!

Stealing your wallet!

Being imitated in cheap plastic toys your kids can charmingly drag around with them!

Judging you while you climb steep hills to temples!

Whoa this is not a deer. Where have we moved onto now?

Oh yeah Giant Buddha Hall. Hey, what's up?

Traditional Japanese house of awesome! Which was right next to Sake Brewing House of awesome!
Very stylish hooray!

Sidenote: I was far too tall for this house (like in a genuine embarrassing way) and had to ask my host if it was ok for me to crawl about the house on my knees. She laughed and told me it was totally fine. Every other visitor proceeded to thoroughly enjoy pointing out the stupidity of my height. Good times!

I could totally stand up in the garden though.

Afternoon Sake times. This was at a tiny bar that was kind of down a little alleyway that I accidentally w It had a big sign that said in English 'WELCOME TO NARA. HOW ABOUT A DRINK?' and I was like 'OH THANKS. OK THEN'

Dinner times.

Randoms

I'm feeling mildly bored of posting pictures/talking about Japan so I thought I'd take a short break and post some pictures that have nothing to do with each other or really anything at all. :D

like this! LOL WHUT? ( I feel like if I explained what this actually was it would probably mildly creep people out like it did when I first realised...)

This however is a birthday/valentines day cake my neighbour brought over for me as a SURPRISE. I really love surprises especially when they are filled with Mulberry Jam. In fact only when they are filled with Mulberry Jam. I've just made that a rule.

^_^

-_-

This is a thoughtful time. We are very thoughtful at this moment.

For relaxing times make it Suntory times. Or some other times. Make it a times.

Brunswick St times! (don't make it these times)
